Oznámení dorazilo v pondělí e-mailem a týkalo se čistě záležitostí okolo DPH. Hledají například AWS Solutions Architect Czech Republic/Slovakia přímo pro Prahu, takže tím je asi i jasné místo.

Greetings from AWS,

On August 1, 2020, Amazon Web Services EMEA Sarl (“AWS Europe”) will launch its new local branch in Czech Republic. From this date, AWS Europe will charge local Value Added Tax (“VAT”) and issue VAT invoices for your AWS accounts based in Czech Republic.

How this affects you

  • Invoices will include Value Added Tax (“VAT”) on all service charges for customer accounts in Czech Republic. VAT Invoices will be issued per a TRN and to each account without a TRN. This information is important to ensure that AWS calculates the correct amount of taxes and issues correct Tax Invoices for your records.

Things you must do prior to 1st of August

  • Review and update your AWS accounts’ information:
    • If you have a Tax Registration Number (also known as a TRN, Merverdiavgift, MVA, VAT Number, VAT ID, or VAT Registration Number), visit the Tax Settings page of the AWS Billing Console and confirm/update the TRN and Business Legal Address for your AWS account(s).
    • If you do not have a TRN, visit your account page (via My Account) of your AWS Console to confirm/update your contact address. Additionally, please visit the Payment Methods page of your AWS Console to confirm/update your billing address.

Please see the AWS Europe frequently asked questions (FAQs) for more information. If you have additional questions after reviewing the FAQs please create a case with Customer Support.

Sincerely,

The Amazon Web Services Team
